ALternative tourism in MEditerranean Regions (ALMERE) [The text in English at the bootom of the post]

Με τη νέα χρονιά ξεκίνησε και το νέο έργο ERASMUS+  με τίτλο «Εναλλακτικός τουρισμός στις Μεσογειακές Περιοχές» και υπότιτλο «Μορφές βιώσιμου τουρισμού, συμβάλλοντας στην αμοιβαία κατανόηση, τον αμοιβαίο σεβασμό και την ενσυναίσθηση μεταξύ επισκεπτών και κατοίκων».

Το έργο θα υλοποιήσουν πέντε φορείς από την Τουρκία, Ελλάδα, Ισπανία, Ιταλία και Σλοβενία:

Συντονιστής του έργου είναι το Akdeniz University με έδρα του την τουριστική περιοχή της Αττάλειας στην Τουρκία  http://www.akdeniz.edu.tr

Κατά τη διάρκεια του έργου προβλέπονται έρευνες, εκδόσεις, ανταλλαγή εμπειρίας και υποβολή προτάσεων για την προώθηση του βιώσιμου τουρισμού καθώς και πέντε συναντήσεις των συμμετεχόντων στις χώρες που έχουν έδρα οι φορείς.

Το Ελληνικό Δίκτυο ΦΙΛΟΙ της ΦΥΣΗΣ έχει πλούσια εμπειρία για τα  θέματα βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης και βιώσιμου τουρισμού, έχει πραγματοποιήσει δύο ημερίδες, έχει εκδώσει βιβλία και μπροσούρες, έχει διοργανώσει ξεναγήσεις σε χώρους οικολογικού, ιστορικού και πολιτιστικού ενδιαφέροντος, έχει υπογράψει το Διακήρυξη του Βερολίνου για την Μεταρρύθμιση του Τουρισμού (Berlin Declaration on Transforming Tourism) και έχει κάνει περισσότερες από 100 αναρτήσεις στην ιστοσελίδα του [ΕΔΩ].

Αντίστοιχη εμπειρία με τους ΦτΦ και κυρίως διάθεση για συνεργασία για την προώθηση του Βιώσιμου Τουρισμού και την στήριξη της τοπικής οικονομίας και κοινωνίας έχουν οι συμμετέχοντες στο έργο ALMERE.

The new project ERASMUS+, entitled «Alternative Tourism in Mediterranean Regions»/ ALMERE and subtitled «Forms of sustainable tourism, contributing to mutual understanding, mutual respect and empathy between visitors and inhabitants» began at the beginning of the New Year, 2021.

The project will be carried out by five organisations from Turkey, Greece, Spain, Italy and Slovenia.

The Akdeniz University, based in the touristic region of Antalya in Turkey, will be the co-ordinator of the project http://www.akdeniz.edu.tr

Research, editions, experience exchange and suggestions’ submission for the promotion of sustainable tourism, along with five participants’ meetings in the countries where the organisations are based, are expected to take place during the development of the project.

Naturefriends Network Greece has a rich experience in the area of sustainable development and sustainable tourism. It has organised two seminars, it has published books and brochures, it has organised tours in places of ecological, historical and cultural interest. It has also signed the Berlin Declaration on Transforming Tourism and it has published more than 100 posts on its website.[here]

The ALMERE project participants have equivalent to that of the NatureFriends Greece experience and mainly the willing to work together in order to promote the Sustainable Tourism and to support local economy and local communities.

We are going to give out more information about the ALMERE project, which is planned to last 24 months, in the near future.
